Match report On a slow and unpredictable pitch, openers David Ainslie and Grant Davidson took the charge to the Teuchters attack with a solid start before Ainslie was caught in the deep. Wickets soon began to fall at regular intervals however and skipper Martin Juson did well to stick in batting at 3 to hold the innings together. Eventually, Penicuik were all out we were all out for 110, with Juson remaining unbeaten on 53. Young Edward Blissitt did well to stay with Martin Juson toward the end of the innings to help get a respectable score on the board

The Teuchters reply got off to a flyer and it soon became apparent that opener Bartsch was on a mission to win the match single handedly. Penicuik dropped Bartsch a couple of times before finally dismissing him when the score was at 90. By this time though most of the damage was done and although Penicuik took 7 wickets Tuechters got home with plenty of overs to spare. Pick of the bowlers for Penicuik was David Ainslie who took 3 wickets, with Scott Charleson taking 2 wickets and Jake Perry picking up 1 in an impressive spell. Makeshift wicketkeeper Grant Davidson also claimed a good catch and a stumping.
