Match report Once we cleared away all the young Kwik Cricketers Penicuik lost the toss and Gala decided to bat. Tight bowling saw the visitors restricted to 43 off 20 overs. Once the dangerous Ormiston was bowled the home side thought they would be in with a chance. However some dropped catches and powerful hitting from young Pringle (83) saw the visitors be bowled out for 185 just as the rain clouds gathered. Some excellent bowling from Ed Blissitt saw him finish with figures of 6-32.
As the teams had tea the rain came down and would not stop so the decision to abandon the game was made. It spoilt what may have been an interesting challenge.
